Corporate Citizen is a hardcore punk band from San Diego, CA. Formed in 2017 with former member Steve O’Brien, the band took its influences from 90’s hardcore. Today the band consists of Steve Diaz, Mike Ruggiero, Louis Ramsey, Dan Achin, and Bob Meder and has been very active in and around San Diego. Corporate Citizen has had the opportunity to open up for bands like Ignite and The Freeze and has played tons of shows all over San Diego including at The Casbah. The band’s energetic live show along with their fast, catchy songs keep people coming back for more.

Corporate Citizen enjoys writing and recording almost as much as playing out. The band released the EP “What Would He Do?” in early 2018 and the 9 song record “A Brief Moment of Sanity” in early 2019 on El Topo Records. The Brief Moment of Sanity 7 inch came from this recording. The first half of 2020 has come with it’s unique obstacles but the band is releasing a 3 song EP titled “Six Minute Meeting” and have ambitiously decided to release a video for each of the 3 songs. The band also has plans to release a full length record by early 2021. Corporate Citizen is dedicated to writing music that is fresh yet still stays true to its roots.

Are we so afraid of our own unique realities that we feel the need to blend into some homogeneous cultural cesspool that ensures that we are all the same?
